About the restaurant :Born in Monaco in 1994, a veritable institution, Amici Miei was one of the very first restaurants in the wonderful harbour of Fontvieille. Amici Miei is most of all the marvellous story of a family. You’ll be greeted warmly by Elisa and her father, Giorgio, as you step inside the restaurant, before savouring the expertise in the kitchen thanks to Donatella, the ‘Mama’ and Manolo, Elisa’s husband. The duo Mama & Manolo base everything on fresh produce and then combine generation-old know-how and modern trends to transport you along the coast from Monaco to Italy. According to Elisa, "Mama’s pasta is unbelievable’. A place where you can enjoy the delicious ingredients prepared very well, in a friendly and familial setting.
A word from the chef :When you taste our dishes you can tell that they are made with skill and quality ingredients that reflect the time of year. Our menus are dictated by the produce that captures our attention in the markets. As well as traditional dishes, the fresh pasta by Donatella remains a constant and Manolo has become passionate about desserts. Some typical dishes you’ll find on our menu : Venetian-style sardines, Salt-Crusted Sea Bass Cognac-Flamed King Prawns, Tuna Tagliata with a mint sauce, Lobster Pasta, Truffle & Mushroom Raviolis.
